That's why it's a dream

'Is it realistic for someone who leads a comfortable life with a well paying job to leave everything to open a resturant?
It is not.
That's why it's a dream'
Owner of 'Wild Rocket' resturant
But dreams are meant to be fulfilled. That's why a fulfilled dream is so precious and rare.
Boring paper
Friday, November 24, 2006 1:45 AM
I think the marketing paper was quite boring. Boring doesn't mean that it was easy. I thought the questions just weren't interesting.
I think the whole marketing concept generally evolves around giving customers what they want (outside in strategy), building customer equity, differentiate from ur competitors and the marketing mix (4Ps)
So.. basically my ans keeps talking about the same concepts again, again, again and again. So boring.
But again, i don't know if what I wrote's what they want. :s
Creepy Bugs
Tuesday, November 21, 2006 2:54 PM
U know, I had a weird dream yesterday. (well, actually I have weird dreams everyday..)
I dreamt that there was a colony of creepy bugs in my kitchen. They are black, round, shiny and pretty big.
And you know what the worst part was? They cling onto each other and form a large bug ball. It's like damn disgusting la.
So, I took out the insectiside and started spraying. But the Bug Ball was so damn resistant. In the end, I took boiling water and scald them to death. Very shoik. Hahahaha.
Mental Block

Great. The last thing that anyone wanna have in the exam hall is mental block. And I GOT IT!
And the cost of it? 11 marks. Hai~
Econs paper wasn't that bad. But with this missing 11 marks, it may cost me a grade. :( Shit.
No exams luck eh?

I am starting to think about Christmas when I am not even half way thr the exams.
Shit me.
I think I am so dead. Lying at the bottom of the cliff in a pool of blood already.
I am so DAMN dead.
Oh well, it's my own doing. I made myself jumped off the cliff anyway. Thanks a lot for not working hard through out this sem.
Say I Do
Tuesday, November 14, 2006 9:13 PM
THAT, must have been the sweetest show I have seen... in a looong time.
Have you ever watched the variety show, 'Say I Do' by channel 8?
Now, today's episode is really touching to the max.
The main character: The girl.
She has been loving this guy for a loong time. For 10 years. Since her secondary sch days.
The show: Together with the host, she had a made over, booked a romantic room for lunch, and asked the guy out. Then, she asked the guy, 'Will you give me a chance to be a part of your life?'
The ending: The guy said, 'This's a difficult question. But I hope you'll understand that it's better if we remain as friends.'
Oh man... That girl, she's COURAGEOUS! I admire her for that. Way to go man!

Feeling very blessed.
Stupid McDonalds
Saturday, November 04, 2006 12:05 PM
I have a bad feeling this time. I really do have a bad feeling this time.
Beoy, 'So, do you all still frequent McDonalds?'
Me, 'Yeah, we do still.'
Beoy, 'Hmm, ok. So why do u all still buy McDonalds?'
Me, 'Oh, cause it's convenient and fast, and the food's edible.'
Beoy, 'Ah, ok. But I get this feeling from your presentation that you guys are not very confident of your solutions. That's why I thought it could be that you guys are anti-Mcdonalds.'
Us, '....'
Oh man. Me and my big mouth. I should have suspected something when Boey asked the first qnt. I should have think thrice before answering. I should have said, 'No! We hated Mac!'
So shit. He's not convinced by our suggestions on how to prevent Mac from having a decreasing market share.
I have a bad feeling that we will get B this time. Alp's group got a B. Since their presentation's almost the same as ours. I think we will have a B too. :(
华语, Cool!

"Instead of harping on the rise of China and how knowing Mandarin helps Singapore to build business relations, this year's Speak Mandarin Campaign aims to get Singaporeans to appreciate the beauty of the Chinese language and Chinese heritage, through the 3Ms: movies, music and metaphors or 'chengyu'."

Yes, Yes! This should be the spirit! The appreciation of the chinese culture! I always hate it when ppl say we should learn mandrain just for the sake of business deals. If you learn it that way, then it is no difference from what we have always been doing in school.... study because of exam/business, study not because of passion.
This is the most pleasent thing I have heard from the gov.
