Saturday.
I brought board games to CP CC. There are a total of 8 games, but in actualy fact... 4 of them are of the same type, just roll dice and move ur markers, 'cept that the pattern of the board's difference. HAHAHAs. AA n I were damn enthu, and Hock 哥 was feeling paisei playing it. Blah.
We played Snake n Ladders (which I happily lost)
Then the areoplane game (飞机棋), whereby I was the only suay one to get all my 3 markers kicked back, no thanks to Hock 哥, to the starting pt, and had a hard time trying to roll 6s to get the markers flying again.
After which was 跳棋. AA had nv seen the game before. So my opponent was Hock 哥. I WON!!!!
We moved on to some crappy soccer game which again I lost. AAARRRRGGGHHHH! Must be the bad 风水. >.<
Then this interesting little Indian girl joined us in another game of Snake n Ladders. My oh my. She irritates .... no, she scares me a little. She's too hiong for me to handle. Hahahas. AA was on the verge of arguing with her. :p. Kids these days... *shakes head*
Hahahahas.
Sunday.
YY brought CROSS STITCH to CP CC. OMG!!!!
He's cross stitching a hp pouch for his <*tink tink tink*> BUDDY. <*wink wink wink*> Tsk Tsk Tsk, what a 细心 guy. LOL. Kambate ne YY. We will support you!

Battie was very amazed when she saw it. Hahahas. Putting amazement aside, she patiently coached YY on how to X-stitch. And when she dropped by Nee Soon Central CC, she told Hock 哥 abt it, and he happily drop by CP to check it out just to satisfy his curiousity. LOL.
Anyway, the CC ppl are really nice. Li Li n Ron specially came out to keng1 gai2 (hokkien) with us for a while. Li Li was asking us to play badminton with her on mondays. I will happily pop by in July. Just so I can see her pet bird which I heard won't run away with u hold it. :D
So....... bye Chong Pang CC! Will miss all the people whom I have worked with for the passed 2 wks. Hope to see you guys soon.

Had my first salon hair wash experience. Gosh. It was terrible. They massage your shoulders. It tickles so bad I could hardly control my laughter. I was soo on the verge of crying out loud.

2 more days til the end of work.
Honestly, I will miss Chong Pang CC. The forms, the envelopes, the aunties n uncles, my dear funny colleagues, the CC office ppl, and of course, our very sweet supervisors.
Er... yar, this post should be written on the last day of work... but oh well, I shld start feeling emo two days ahead so that the effect wouldn't be so big on the last day. Blah. :p
Arrgh. This is the exact feeling I had when the Japan trip ended.
Anyway, the hall allocation results came out today. I missed the cut off pt by THHHHHAAAAATT much. Hahas. Only have 9 pts, but the cut-off is 14. A bit ridiculous so as to say. But then again ... I dun mind living at home. Can do the cat stretching exercise with my cat. LOL. Meow.Labels: Work and school

Whoosh man. First day in 1 wk's time whereby it actually rained. And I mean, Heavy rain. Yeah!
Today's another slack day. Not much ppl. We sat there pak4 mang4 (hokkien) again.
I was totally surprised YY came to play bball with hock 哥. Thought they were joking when they said they gonna play ball. Yes AA (aunty ang. Sorry, need to distinguish u fm my friend von sao, so hereby calling u AA ah. :D), we shld go play badminton some days and let them tend the booth.
Oh yes. And an aunty came by the booth to get her sign up form filled. She looks like someone who's 60 over. But she said she's acutally 70 plus!! Then we said she really dun look like. Then also dunno why, Hock 哥 ask her to guess his age. She said, 'Eh... I think got 30 yrs old lar'. Me and AA instantly peng. Hahahas. This proves our pt. Uncle Hock is not a name pluck fm the air.

YY - bring dvds
AA - bring interesting photos. Hahas.

Monday.
Hao 哥 from Nee Soon Central CC came to stand in for Hock 哥. I met him before last monday when I was standing in at Nee Soon Central. Hock 哥 told Hao 哥 not to be bullied by us. How not nice of Hock 哥. >.< We are always nice to ppl one lor.
Being nice, we made him sit the outside seat. That's how he was able to write his FIRST appeal form. See, we are so nice.
Didn't know Hao 哥 n YY got so much tuition teaching experience. Hao 哥's kid's mother even installed surveliance camera in the room. But the funnier point was: Hao 哥 assigned this piece of chi essay for the kid to do, and he marked it the next session. A few sessions later, he assigned the kid another essay. And when he marked it.... he thought the handwritting was familiar. As he read on.... alas! To his surprise, it was the same piece of essay he marked a few wks ago and the kid merely wrote over his markings in blue! LOL.
Then an indian man came by the booth in the evening. The first thing he said was, ' My friends got $6/700, how come i only got $300? How come i dun have the NS money?' He went on like tt for 15 mins... but without letter, we can't explain to him. (Hao 哥 started sweating profusely. Hahas). Then he came back with the letter. He was entitled $200 GST credit n $100 for NSmen. We asked him how many room flat he's living in. He said 3. So we thought tt he was supposed to receive $250 for GST credit but only got $200. So we said we can help him fill in appeal form. Then4 he said no. The pt is not abt the 50 bucks extra. He wants to get $600, not just an additional $50. So I asked him, his 3 rooms means 3 bedrms or 3 room flat. He said 3 bedrooms. So is 4 room flat. So CORRECT LA! He received the correct amt. At the end of the day, he just want us to give him 400 bucks more. WTF.Labels: Work and musings

Hectic, Damn 凶, Madness.
But then ...... It is still FUN!
We open at 12pm. But people like to start queueing at 11am and later complain that they have been waiting for a long time. Dun understand why.
Anyway, I stood in for someone at Nee Soon Central CC on 14th. Was supposed to be my off day, but since money is knocking on ur doors, why not welcome it? :D Nee Soon Central CC was good. Air - conditioned room, fish tank with healthy swimming goldfish (my colleagues said they looked hungry cause most of them were staying still. But then again ... isn't it normal when fishes sleep? Hahas) We had nth much to do 'cept watch the fishes, debate over whether they are hungry of sleepy, think of what to have for dinner and stone.
Tues n Weds at Chong Pang was madness. LLOOONNG queue of people waiting at our booth way before we reach the CC. Being 2 mins late on tues kinda add on to me stress cum surprise. :s A nice welcome gift. :p
Damn Hiong. We were serving the folks none stop for 9 hrs st8 on tues. Wed was slightly better cause there was a couple of hours of light traffic.
But man, somebody ought to build some sound proof walls around the neighbouring trees. The birds start shouting at 7pm. They continue screaming for 1 hr ... till the sky becomes dark. We had to compete with the birds. Damn the birds... we rock man. But by the end of wed, I had a bad sore throat which later develped into a flu on thurs mrning.
Only worked for 2 hrs on thurs (no thanks to the birds and flu virus). Sheesh. :S. But Cheng Siew (one of our 2 supervisor) was sooo sweet. Not only did she bought me lemon barely drink, she even sent me home!!! Yeah!!!
Though the job's simple, I had gotten some satisfaction out of it. :D Most (I wld say ... 90%) of the aunties n uncles who came to the booth are nice people and are VERY ke4 ki3 (hokkien). They would thank you profusely for 10 times before leaving, and we have to say 'you're welcome' 10 times too. Hahahs.
But of course .... work could not have been sooo much fun without my dear colleagues:
First off, our leader, Hock 哥 a.k.a Uncle Hock. His hokkien is zai one lor. Damn pro ok. He can keng1 gai2 in hokkien with the aunties with no problem at all. He should be the one keeping cats cause he's Niao. :p He's in NTU.
Next up, we have .... Yi 弟. Man, he's one funny guy. He sure knows what he shld say n what not to say to Hock 哥. LOL. Oh yes, he will also acknowledge to the name 'Uncle Yi'. He's in NUS.
And finally.... is my 知音, Yvonne. OMG. She feeds the cats at her void deck!!! Man... nv knew anyone who really love cats too! We had a wonderful time this afternoon discussing abt cats, and poor uncle yi, being nice, had to listen to us talk. Hahas. Btw, Yvonne is sometimes known as Aunty too.

I was disgusted to the maximun today.
Some crazy 30+ yrs old female ate a life cat this morning.
She stuck a long and big screw driver into the cat's ass and ate the cat. The cat's body was beyond recognition.
Police came and took the carcase away.
But the murderer was not caught.
So, everyone, beware of a crazy 30+ yrs old female.
