Monday.
Hao 哥 from Nee Soon Central CC came to stand in for Hock 哥. I met him before last monday when I was standing in at Nee Soon Central. Hock 哥 told Hao 哥 not to be bullied by us. How not nice of Hock 哥. >.< We are always nice to ppl one lor.
Being nice, we made him sit the outside seat. That's how he was able to write his FIRST appeal form. See, we are so nice.
Didn't know Hao 哥 n YY got so much tuition teaching experience. Hao 哥's kid's mother even installed surveliance camera in the room. But the funnier point was: Hao 哥 assigned this piece of chi essay for the kid to do, and he marked it the next session. A few sessions later, he assigned the kid another essay. And when he marked it.... he thought the handwritting was familiar. As he read on.... alas! To his surprise, it was the same piece of essay he marked a few wks ago and the kid merely wrote over his markings in blue! LOL.
Then an indian man came by the booth in the evening. The first thing he said was, ' My friends got $6/700, how come i only got $300? How come i dun have the NS money?' He went on like tt for 15 mins... but without letter, we can't explain to him. (Hao 哥 started sweating profusely. Hahas). Then he came back with the letter. He was entitled $200 GST credit n $100 for NSmen. We asked him how many room flat he's living in. He said 3. So we thought tt he was supposed to receive $250 for GST credit but only got $200. So we said we can help him fill in appeal form. Then4 he said no. The pt is not abt the 50 bucks extra. He wants to get $600, not just an additional $50. So I asked him, his 3 rooms means 3 bedrms or 3 room flat. He said 3 bedrooms. So is 4 room flat. So CORRECT LA! He received the correct amt. At the end of the day, he just want us to give him 400 bucks more. WTF.Labels: Work and musings
