Alright... let's see.
I have reached Wuhan happy and safe. :D
A week has passed by and it now feels like home.
Sadly, we are now unable to view people's blog using China's web browser [ :( ] due to certain reasons which I shall not go into.
As for now, we have visited some shopping malls near the school, East Lake, Yangtze river (and of course the 3 Gorges Dam), JingZhou city and KTV. LOL
I totally dislike the noodles here. They either add vinegar or some weird spice powder. Hmm...
Blog will not be updated frequently for this month.
Ok guys, take care! U guys are missed. :D

Us on board a river cruise which goes across the Yangtze river at Wuhan.

My mom's STONGLY suggesting that I bring a fleece jacket and long sleeved top I wore to Japan during WINTER to China. Being a nice daughter, I will take up her suggestion.

I must say I am a real spoilt brat. Today's the first time I washed my own clothes using the traidtional method. Gosh... Hanging the clothes out to dry nearly broke my arms!!! My mom is power sia. Whooosh!Labels: Random

For 2 hours today, we felt like we were in Japan. LOL!
Amy, Gun Gun, Ash n I went to this sugoyi (means - amazing) Japanese Resturant at Liang Court : Kotobuki Japanese Resturant. Its location is REALLY VERY SUPER well hidden. :0! It's on lvl 4. U can find some clues as to how to get there fm the big assed poster displayed at lvl 1.
I was craving for some soba real badly after watching the drama 'Attention Please'. They say that soba tastes the best when slurped. So I tried. Ended up with miso all over my mouth.

My Tempura Soba n Ash's CharShao Ramen (aiya, dunno what's the actual name lar)

Ash looking so hungry.

We can't wait to slurp the noodles.

Gun Gun's always happy when food's ard. Eh, why you nv order salmon ah?

Gun Gun n Ash.

Me n Xiao Qian

Look, the table's so clean! We were so hungry we ate all plates as well.

Ha! Photo taken in Japan!
We were damn high, and Ooo-ing and Aaah-ing over how authentic the food is.
The resturant even has those rooms where u sit on the floor and dine kind. But you need to pre-book it and must have at least 6 ppl to get the room free. Ok peeps! Who wanna join us next time?
And the incentives for joining us? You get to make believe tt you are actually in a cosy resturant in Japan, with snow silently fluttering outside the resturant. If you like, you can also bring along your winter coat and hang them in the room. Too broke for a trip to Japan? Go Kotobuki!
Anyway, we had walk along the S'pore River after the very satisfying dinner. The ambience's actually fantastic. When I earn 4K per mth, I am going to dine there once every mth. We shall try a different resturant every month. Yeah!Labels: Food

Was 震撼-ed.
Today's Vesak Day, and my mom n I visited 光明山 for the first time. Oh man, it was raining damn heavily when we alighted. Anyway, that's not the main pt. The main pt is - the whole temple is SOOOO DARN MAGNIFICIENT! I saw at least 4 佛殿, and I dun think I even covered half of the whole 光明山. Even the ceilings of the shelthered link ways have beautiful carvings of them. Wow.
Don't understand why, but I was touched when I saw the people reciting the sutras. I dunno... the sight of everyone doing the same thing with the same faithful heart is just.... touching.Labels: sights
