The only interesting thing that happened to me during the last 2 weeks is the Family Chalet!
It was F-U-N!
My very 'on' aunties booked 3 chalet units at downtown east from 14th till 16th Dec 2007. But because of work ( like.. duh.... :( ), I had to miss 1 day of fun.
My cousins went Wild Wild Wet on sat morning. Damn it... should have went there earlier to join in the the fun.
We had BBQ at night. There was soooo much food that in the end, there was still about like... 20 (or maybe 30?) chicken wings and some meat left over. Wow. The food, as always, were heavenly. My mother's side family are all great cooks. YEAHH!
And believe it or not, I joined my kid cousins for a round of games at the Arcade plus neoprints(:P) after the BBQ. Man, I suck at Arcade games.
Then we just kinda fooled around in the chalet until 2am. I was awake half the night while one of my kid cousins snored over my head.
And on the last day, we visited Escape. The sun was scotching hot. My face got roasted just by walking around the theme park. Well... Escape was never an amusing amusement park in the first place... but oh well.... since the chalet came with free complimentary tickets, 不玩白不玩嘛. Each Chalet unit supposedly gives us 4 free tickets. But my aunt found an additional 4 tickets lying on the table out of the blue before checking out. So all of us had free entrance!一切都是天意!
And again, I must comment on the fact that TIME REALLY FLIES. I always have the impression that this particular kid cousin of mine (well.. to be precise, he's actually my cousin's son. So it makes him my 'niece'?) is in pri 4. But in reality, he's going into sec 1 next year. Which is like... wow. Fast. I think he is going to go far when he grows up. (despite the fact that he sucks in studies) Though mischievous, he cares a lot for his family. Though got sucky grades, he speaks well and is street smart. Just like his mom. =)Labels: Gatherings
